Men with gently flowing locks look like bad boys with hearts of gold. There’s something romantic and smouldering about hockey hair. Since you need to style your new ‘do with heat tools, such as blow dryers and straightening irons, use a heat protectant on your hair and apply a deep conditioner at least every other week. You don’t want your flowing locks to get too heavy or flyaway. Regular shaping and thinning are also required. Even after you reach the length you desire, you still need to get the split ends trimmed-and you will have them. Maintaining your hockey haircut takes time and dedication on your part. Ultimate Haircuts and Hairstyles for Teenager Boys Otherwise, drink lots of water, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, and regularly have your dead ends trimmed-just your dead ends, though. You should also bear in mind that biotin makes your hair grow fast and thick everywhere, so have fun with that. Just read the instructions to know how much to take. You can find it in your nearest vitamin aisle. You can boost your hair growth a bit.īiotin helps. So, you grow about half an inch every month, meaning that it takes a full year to grow six inches. The average guy grows an eighth of an inch of hair each week. Long hair is essential for that hockey flow hair, gents. At the very least, my dudes, you need to invest in a blow dryer and a good brush. The hockey flow haircut calls for some styling tools. The look’s easy to steal and a breeze to style-once you get used to it, anyway. Although hockey players are famous for this loose, long, freely flowing style, it’s also a favorite among surfers, musicians, actors, and everyday bros, too. GQ calls it the Bro Flow because, of course, they do. These days, we call it flow, hockey hair, or a lax bro cut. Flow hair is nothing new - it’s been around since the 1800s.

Ben Seong ( Raymond Lee) now hopping through time as they try to uncover the mysteries of the experiment and Sams disappearance. Set to premiere on September 19, 2022, the new series focuses on a new team of scientists who revive Project Quantum Leap, with their leader, Dr. In 2022, it was reported that NBC had picked up a sequel series, taking place thirty years after the original. Bellisario announced that he was working on a feature-film adaptation of the series but it has yet to be produced. This was helped along by a rule (though broken a few times) that Sam could only time travel "within his own lifetime," so he couldn't be sent to prehistoric times or the future. The time travel element was just a device to tell a variety of different stories, and the majority of episodes contained no fantastic elements at all, save for Sam's leaping and Al and Ziggy's guidance. Though it had a sci-fi premise, Quantum Leap never really considered itself a sci-fi show - it was one of the few shows to be in reruns on both the USA and Sci-Fi channels at the same time. In other words, he Suddenly Always Knew That. At least once a season, Sam would suddenly be revealed to have completely forgotten about his musical career/doctorate in the specialty needed for the leap, etc. The show also established that leaping affected Sam's memory and his own past, allowing the writers to regularly Retcon his skills and personal history (referred to in show as "the Swiss Cheese Effect"). The show's explanation for the time travel was basically a Hand Wave the experiment started Sam's leaps, but afterwards they were controlled by the Powers That Be. Reluctant at the role thrust upon him, Sam assumes the role of the Drifter, assisted as noted by Dean Stockwell's Al Calavicci. The only way for him to move on from any time period he lands in is to change the lives of people there for the better. Sam Beckett ( Scott Bakula), caught in a malfunctioning Time Travel experiment that bounces him back and forth into the roles of different people in the past. Quantum Leap (1989-1993) is a NBC Cult Classic series. So Mu-gak does his best to casually leave the station without attracting attention, but Yeom notices that the moment he’s out the door, he breaks into a run. He orders Mu-gak to go alone or the proof he sends will be of Cho-rim’s death. He tells Mu-gak to go to Cho-rim’s old house, and wait for further instructions. Mu-gak wants proof of Cho-rim’s safety, but that upsets Jae-hee, who says Mu-gak is in no position to give orders. He says that Cho-rim is fine, and that it’s really Mu-gak that he wants. Sure enough, Jae-hee does call Mu-gak soon. She yells that she’ll never forgive him, and Jae-hee almost seems to experience a moment of remorse, admitting that those words feel different coming from her. She asks why Jae-hee killed her parents, saying that she’s remembered every despicable thing he did back then. Cho-rim seems more angry than scared, and demands to know what exactly he wants, and Jae-hee says that he’s deciding which of them lives and which dies. It’s especially eery, knowing that Jae-hee has been watching them that closely. Jae-hee takes Cho-rim to the apartment building where she and Mu-gak recently rented, setting up shop in the showroom unit. Knowing what she knows of criminals, she assures Mu-gak that Jae-hee will contact them to let them in on his plan. He sees the strange material on the ring and hands it over to forensics to analyze.īack at the station Yeom points out that Jae-hee’s goal must be more than his usual kidnapping/murder, since his pattern is different this time. The van and it’s occupants are gone by the time Mu-gak and the cops arrive, but he quickly spots Cho-rim’s ring and knows they’re on the right track. Cho-rim thinks fast and takes off her engagement ring, drags the diamond through the explosive plastic, and throws it out the window. He says not to ask questions, and she’ll see everything soon enough. He tells her calmly not to worry - the bomb is for Mu-gak. Still tied up in the van, Cho-rim watches Jae-hee fiddle with a homemade bomb, and asks him what he’s planning. Detective Ki tells them they’ve located Jae-hee’s van in Paju, and the team leaps into action. Something in Mu-gak’s face tells me that ain’t gonna happen. Lieutenant Yeom volunteers to be in on the investigation too, and she begs Mu-gak to please follow police procedure this time. Kang says it may not be helpful, but he’s sure Cho-rim will be okay. He stops to stare straight into the camera, making sure they know exactly who’s responsible.ĭetective Kang assures Mu-gak that he’s got every available cop looking for Cho-rim, and gives permission for Mu-gak to participate in the search. It’s not until the team checks out the CCTV from the parking garage that they see Jae-hee putting an unconscious Cho-rim into an ambulance. Jae-hee has a few new tricks up his sleeve, and the team will have to think fast on their feet if they want to rescue both of their friends before disaster strikes.Ĭho-rim is discovered to be missing just as the wedding starts, and everyone goes running to look for clues as to what could have happened to her. But first Mu-gak has to do his best save Cho-rim, and hope to finally avenge his sister and her parents in the process. This final episode is Girl Who Sees Smells is a bit of a mishmash, but we do get plenty of excitement, and some surprises, too. 141 JanuGirl Who Sees Smells: Episode 16 (Final) by LollyPip “The summer of 2021 was pretty rough for everyone, so having a moment where people could fondly relive their nostalgia was a welcome respite,” Nijjar wrote via email. Craig Hickman, the creator of the original Kid Pix program, even noticed the port (and let his grandson try it out). The port was originally a gift for Nijjar’s daughter, though it became much bigger than he expected after he posted the port on Twitter. However, in 2021, Kid Pix was made just as accessible as it once was by Vikrum Nijjar, who ported the first Kid Pix to release a free web version. Since Kid Pix’s initial release as public domain software in 1989, newer iterations have become monetized, while older versions have become relatively incompatible with modern operating systems. The road to repopularize Kid Pix, on the other hand, hasn’t been as straightforward. Sure, you should be doing homework, but Carmen Sandiego is on the loose! Hopefully you can recreate the bug and i have helped narrow it down a little.Computer Lab Week is our ode to the classic “school” games, like Oregon Trail and Number Munchers, that kept us from being productive. I cannot get paint to do this at 12.5% or anything larger than 50%. It seems as though the counting mechanism for the diameters of the canvass are screwed when at 25% and 50% zoom. In effect, i have lost 5 inches of picture by merely grabbing the canvass resize square, extending the cavass size, then decreasing the canvass size and finally returning the canvass back to the original size before releasing my mouse button. Eventually return the mouse back to the location that it started and look at the NEW canvass length. Now click and hold the mouse button on either of the bottom two canvass resize squares and start moving the mouse up and down as though you were going to resize the canvass BUT DONT LET THE MOUSE BUTTON GO. Now when at 25% or 50% with vertical scroll bars on display, scroll to the bottom of the screen and note the length of your canvass, in my instance the length is 29.04 inches. First off create a canvass, that when at 50% or 25% zoom it is too large for the screen to display in one go and vertical scroll bars are displayed down the right hand side. I have managed to work out what seems to be causing this BUG. This really is a bug, it isn't a feature and it certainly better not be by design! lol Dean I hope this better explains the bug that i have found in MSPAINT. As you can clearly see, MSPAINT has cropped the picture but in the process has managed to crop a lot more of the picture than I actually told it to crop, roughly 3 or 4 inches worth. Now click the bottom middle crop square on the canvass and drag it to an arbitary location, in my above picture you can see the red line where i cropped the picture. Scroll to the bottom of the image so you are at the lowest point on the canvass. Zoom to 50% (i dont think this matters but its what i did so i could see more of the image on the screen). This is step one, get a picture that is bigger than your current screen and open it in MSPAINT. I will add some pictures to show you what i mean. The team behind this sound-a chewed-up ball of the last 25 years of rap and rock radio-consists of Louis Bell, Frank Dukes, and Post. Depending on how hard you squint, his music sounds alternately and suspiciously like Stone Temple Pilots or Sugar Ray or Everlast or Rae Sremmurd or Def Leppard or Tame Impala. Artists keep wandering out of this spot, which widens every year, but it’s hard to imagine the vortex producing someone as ready for algorithmic dominion than Post. Post’s music comes from that zone of confusion where hip-hop and alternative rock overlap. It is an immaculate pop construction, and the words-“You’re friends with all my demons/The only one that sees them/Too bad for you”-are just delivery systems for the thrill. He uses all three of those voices plus a surprisingly lithe falsetto on “Allergic,” which features a chorus that feels like a down-the-middle split between 2003 Fall Out Boy, 2002 Weezer, and 1983 Billy Joel. He is also a sneakily agile singer, switching from red-faced howling to smoky crooning to something warbly and strange in between these two poles. 1 at the beginning of this year, shows up again outside of last year’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, and its presence here among all these other soon-to-be Top 10 hits feels almost like arm-twisting. Hollywood’s Bleeding has about 10 titanium-grade hooks on it, choruses so immediate they erect stadiums in your head while they play-“I’m Gonna Be,” “Staring at the Sun,” “Allergic,” Enemies,” “Myself,” “Wow.” He seems to almost belch these out: “Got so many hits, can’t remember ’em all/While I’m taking a shit, look at the plaques on the wall,” he yawns charmingly on “On the Road.” “ Sunflower,” his Swae Lee duet that hit No. Each one sounds like it could furnish a down payment on a personal helipad. But Post Malone’s choruses are just stupefyingly good. Yes, the lyrics can be infuriatingly lazy, particularly when he’s tracing over hip-hop tropes about the Mille on his wrist or the 50 carats on his fist. There could be, and have been, far worse pop hegemonies, and in a few years, when his cherubic-face-tatted mug has receded somewhat, the virtues of his music will become more apparent. But if you can wriggle free from all that for just a moment, there is a lot to appreciate in his music. He is kind of a sentient keg stand he has a pretty lazy and unexamined relationship with hip-hop there is strong evidence that he might not exactly be the sort of person who thinks through his actions. There are plenty of valid reasons to bemoan his dominance. Adjust the depth of the kit so the mounting arms are approximately 1-2 inches above the bottom of the can and screw in at least 2 self-tapping Sheet Metal screws into the internal side wall of the can or reflector to secure it.
The color Azure Dashed Lines is easily my fave. Well…Vuori just released a 2.0 version, with a higher rise, AND another version with that higher rise AND longer inseam too. I picked up a pair of Vuori’s Clementine shorts a couple of months ago and, while I’ve been wearing them a ton, I do wish the rise was higher. See the eight ways I’m wearing them.ĭang it. I know I keep talking about these, but…I LOVE THEM. Speaking of FRAME… My beloved low-rise cargo pants are part of Sak’s current promotion. That said, the shorts are so freaking good ( see ’em on here) that I wonder if the jeans are just as good but with alllll the vintage blue-jean vibes. These FRAME Le Hardy trouser jeans have the same waist styling as the white high-rise shorts, but the photos of these wide-leg jeans look…very, very strange. This J.Crew linen maxi is the most similar to mine in terms of shape, but this J.Crew backless halter dress has a similar vibe. This dress has been SUCH a win (and, of course, the one I almost didn’t pack) that it’s worth checking out a few others. In Türkiye, however, it’s been a stunning backless maxi dress from J.Crew. Most-worn dress thus far? To go out in London, I wore Reformation’s linen off-the-shoulder dress and felt like a Hollywood starlet. But whatever.Ĭan someone please start a blog called “Traveling with Woke Teenagers”? I would 100% read that. *Which, let’s be real, is still pretty Euro-centric. The Gen Zer rang us up without making eye contact once, and I have a sneaking suspicion that they’ll be restocking the world version* of Timeline very, very soon. At this point, it was the least I could do. “USA! USA! Ya got any MAGA hats?” Pax joins the fray, using a fake British accent: “Dad, are you JOE king? Surely you are JOE KING?” Raines slinks away in horror, muttering something like, “Mom, make it stop,” but Mike is on a roll, cracking himself up. are like two peas in a pod!!” He is laughing at his own joke, not realizing the Gen-Z is mortified and taking him seriously. “Makes us feel right at home, right guys? England and the U.S. We wouldn’t ever really just focus on British-only history…” “We usually stock plenty of the world versions. “That’s so…unlike us!” The Gen Zer behind the counter said, in apology. Unfortunately, the only Timeline version they had was one dedicated to British History. We later hit a game store, hoping to pick up a copy of Timeline, a game we’d been hoping to play with my history-buff brother. “At least ‘stolen’ would be more historically accurate.” I shoot Mike a look, who is snort-laughing into a closed fist. “They’re using the word” - here he does air quotes - “ found, instead of stolen.” He shakes his head. Later, NOT in the Japanese exhibit, Raines is reading a plaque on the wall, describing the artifact behind the glass in front of him. I sometimes forget how funny the British are. I eye-rolled right back at Raines, reminded him that no one is even going to notice our masks, and walked over to the family help desk, intending to ask for a map. Without missing a beat, the woman behind the counter says, with a completely straight face: “Can I help you find something? The Japanese exhibit, perhaps?” The only tripled-layered masks available had a print of “ The Great Wave” (the famous one by Katsushika Hokusai) on them, and as I bought four of them, I heard Raines sigh to Pax, “I guess we’re going with matching masks.” It would be our luck to get COVID while on vacation, so I herded us over the gift shop to snag a few masks. The museum was packed, and after a quick rummage around, I realized we didn’t bring any masks. “They basically stole everything in here.” “This place is…FREE?” he asked, incredulously. We were in London for a day or two, primarily using our stay to recover from jet lag. We did, however, hit the British Museum since it was within walking distance of our hotel.Īs we entered, Pax, 11, looked around in awe.
